Heart Nebula
The Heart Nebula was first discovered way back in 1787 and is thought to be around 7,500 light years away from the Earth. It is located in a constellation named Cassiopeia.
Why does it glow red?
The Heart Nebula glows an intense red colour from the radiation of a few bright stars located in its very centre. Each one of these stars is thought to be around 50 times bigger than our own Sun.
